Blood pressure is expressed as systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Systolic blood pressure ranges from 100 to 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure from 60 to 90 mmHg. Systolic pressure above 140 and diastolic pressure above 90 mmHg is considered as high blood pressure. In some only systolic pressure is elevated while diastolic pressure is within normal range.
