The roles of media, civil society organizations, and community health volunteers will also be explored, with the closing session emphasizing the importance of stakeholder dialogue in bridging the gap between theory and practice.
At the core of the discussions lies the essence of people-centered healthcare. The workshop acknowledges the significance of community engagement in health system governance, addressing practical nuances often overlooked in this complex landscape.
Explore community dynamics at micro, meso, and macro levels, advocating for patient-centric care. Highlighting the need to empower individuals with health education and self-management skills, the workshop emphasizes community support through engagement with local organizations, civil society, and community health workers.
This workshop comes at a crucial juncture, where communities are increasingly participating in local governance decisions, ushering in a new era of accountability.
