Eminent thought leaders from the fields of medicine, public health, and health systems research and strengthening were recently inducted as members to the Advisory Board of the InOrder Institute. Their experience and expertise willadd valuable insight to further our efforts and guide our work at the Institute.  The newly inducted members are Dr. K. Ranga Rama Krishnan,Chief Executive Officer for Rush University System for Health, Dr. Vijay V. Yeldandi, Specialist in Infectious Diseases and Clinical Professor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Dr. Dennis Streveler, Professor of Medical Informatics at the University of Hawaii and Digital Health Expert, and Mr. Jack Langenbrunner Senior Adviser, Social Health Insurance, Indonesia

As the CEO and former Dean of the Rush Medical College, Dr.K. Ranga Rama Krishnanreorganized and brought innovative practices to the college’s curriculum to keep it at the forefront of medical education. Dr.Krishnan leads innovations in care delivery throughout the Rush system by organizing providers around patients, diseases and conditions rather than by department or division enabling greater multidisciplinary collaboration.

An educator throughout his career, Dr. Vijay V. Yeldandi is a specialist in infectious diseases with a special interest in disorders of the immune system primarily recipients of transplants. He is currently the head of Infectious Diseases and Public Health at SHARE INDIA. Dr Yeldandi also provides technical support to the National AIDS Control Organization of Ministry of health and Family Welfare, Government of India

Dr. Dennis Streveler is a computer scientist and medical informaticist who has devoted a half-century to improving the world’s health systems, by applying digitization and computerization to the processes of healthcare – clinical, financial, and social. As a global expert in Digital Health, his work in India in the recent 5 years continues after having consulted in more than 70 countries around the globe with the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the World Health Organization, GIZ German cooperation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and others.

Currently a senior adviser on Social Health Insurance in Jakarta, Indonesia, Mr. Jack Langenbrunner focuses on the financial impact of healthcare for the poor and vulnerable. As a health economist, he has extensive experience working on health financing issues in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Previously, he was an officer with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and a lead health economist for the World Bank.
