With a view to impart thorough understanding of the complex public health systems among students of the PGDM course on Healthcare Management, ACCESS Health International (AHI) along with InOrder partnered with Goa Institute of Management (GIM) have come together to develop a unique course around Public Health Advisory.  This course will provide students with an edge in public advisory skills through a series of small cases, specifically designed to provide students with hands-on training in these methods.

Public health systems and service delivery is complex, due to the multiplicity of stakeholders and determinants that impact population health. Providing consultancy solutions to government and social sector clients requires a unique sensibility of public systems and how they work, the different pillars of the health system that address a single health outcome, and the data sources and analysis tools required to build evidence-based solutions. The Goa Institute of Management is a leading business school focussed on transforming and improving management education and is among the top rated B schools in the country. ACCESS Health International and InOrder are think tanks and advisory organisations with expertise in health systems research, technical advisory, and capacity building. The public health advisory course will be spread across various modules. Experts from all three institutes came together and drafted the course curriculum along with the required evaluation model. The course will be conducted by AHI and InOrder is partnership with the GIM.
