InOrder, under Affordable Quality Health, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK). TASK is a non-profit organization set up by the Government of Telangana under its Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, to bring synergy among institutions of the government, industry, and academia with an objective of making available quality human resources and services.

The partnership aims to upskill healthcare professionals in public health facilities in the state of Telangana with a focus on quality of care and patient safety. The healthcare professionals cadre includes nursing, patientcare attendants, housekeeping, and security teams across the secondary care public health facilities such as district hospitals, area hospitals, and community health centres. The project aims at training 2000+ professionals from the workforce.  

Skill enhancement training programmes will be conducted for training support staff and nursing staff employed at various government hospitals and healthcare institutions in the state of Telangana for up-skilling and re-skilling in primary areas concerning healthcare safety and security of patients, families and communities in the districts identified by the commissioner, Health & Family Welfare and Mission Director, National Health Mission. The training will focus on clinical nursing, nursing management, quality of care at point of delivery, infection prevention and control, patient safety and COVID care management. 

The MoU was signed on October 29, 2021 in the presence of TASK CEO Mr Shrikant Sinha, ACCESS Health India Country Director and President, InOrder Dr Krishna Reddy Nallamalla and Head, Alliances and Partnerships, ACCESS Health India Dr Uma Aysola. The training programs are rolled out as on the first week of November, 2021.
