InOrder recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Atal Incubation Centre-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB) to jointly work towards fostering social entrepreneurship through specific healthcare innovation and immersion programs and other knowledge exchange programs in healthcare.
Through this partnership, the AIC-CCMB will work closely with InOrder to help start-ups, researchers towards social and rural immersion in the healthcare area, jointly nurture them to develop affordable and socially relevant products and services. Both organizations will collaborate and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and capabilities of the immersion fellows and student innovators to achieve the objective of generating ground level information required to develop an innovative idea in to a product or service.
AIC-CCMB is a specialized incubator in biotechnology and life sciences and healthcare start-ups with deep focus on core biological research and industrialization of products and processes. It is a part of the Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR).
The AIC-CCMB is established under the Atal Innovation Mission of the NITI Aayog. It was set up with an objective to develop new programmes and policies for fostering innovation in different sectors of the economy, provide platforms and collaboration opportunities for different stakeholders, and create an umbrella structure to oversee the innovation & entrepreneurship ecosystem of the country.
For the MoU, the AIC-CCMB has entered in to an agreement with Affordable Quality Health under which InOrder is set up.
