Girish Bommakanti is the Global Director of Operations and Growth at ACCESS Health International, overseeing projects across South Asia, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. With over 22 years of experience in both public and private healthcare sectors, Girish has held senior leadership roles in India, the Middle East, and Nigeria. His expertise spans healthcare transformation, integrated care delivery, digital health, innovative financing, and quality improvement initiatives. He leads key programs such as the Stop Hepatitis Alliance, Rare Diseases, African Cancer Care, and AI-driven healthcare solutions. Girish is also an expert member of the Community of Practice at the Coalition for Disaster and Resilience Infrastructure (CDRI) and works on alternative healthcare financing mechanisms through impact investments. Girish holds a Master’s in Management from Osmania University, a Master’s in Hospital Administration from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and executive certifications from IIM Kozhikode and IIM Tiruchirappalli. He is PMP certified, a fellow at AVPN for Impact Investing, and certified in public policy from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. A passionate researcher and mentor, Girish is dedicated to healthcare innovation, leadership, and training students globally. He currently leads the VCF-Tata Trusts project for InOrder.
