Dr. Shweta Singh

Dr. Shweta is a Public Health professional with over eleven years of extensive experience, currently based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. She spearheads Public Health projects, ensuring meticulous implementation, rigorous evaluation, and stakeholder engagement. Dr. Shweta actively contributes to research initiatives within the organisation, leveraging her expertise in documentation, data analysis, and strategic guidance to enhance public health outcomes and achieve research objectives. Dr. Shweta’s professional journey is marked by her roles at both state and national levels in Human Resources for Health (HRH), Comprehensive Primary Health Care, Maternal and Child Health, and Health Policy. Her tenure includes at prestigious institutions, including the National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) in New Delhi, and her management of a pivotal research project on under- five mortality funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) at ICMR. She possesses robust technical research skills, a profound understanding of ground realities and implementation challenges, and adeptness in analysing complex scenarios within the Indian health system.Academically, Dr. Shweta holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and is also a qualified Dental Surgeon. Her areas of interest span Health Policy Systems Research, Human Resources for Health, and Primary Health Care, reflecting her commitment to advancing public health through informed policy and strategic initiatives.
