Sushma Dsouza

Sushma is a public health researcher with over six years of experience in the public health field. She currently serves as a Project Officer at ACCESS Health International, where she contributes to the health system strengthening projects and serves as a Project Lead for the VCF-Tata Trusts project. Her career includes significant roles at BRIOTA Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Pune and the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS) in Mumbai. At IIPS, she was instrumental in several key projects, including the Longitudinal Ageing Study in India (LASI), the Study of Global Ageing and Adult Health (SAGE), and the Longitudinal Ageing Study in India-Vision Intervention Study (LASI-VIS). Sushma holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Prasanna School of Public Health, MAHE, Manipal, and a B.Sc. in Nursing from the Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences, Mangalore. In her free time, she enjoys watching web series and reading books and novels.
