Vijay Gadharasu

Vijay Gadharasu is a public health and community development professional with over nine years of experience in the humanitarian, development, and public health sectors. He has worked extensively on RMNCHA, WASH, maternal and child health, and tribal healthcare programs in rural, urban, and tribal contexts.

Currently, he is a Senior Research Associate, where he leads stakeholder coordination, operations management, data collection, data analysis, qualitative and quantitative research to strengthen primary healthcare in North Telangana tribal districts.

Previously, he held key roles at CARE India, WASH Institute, and BAIF Institute, managing large-scale CSR and NGO-funded programs focused on healthcare, sanitation, hygiene promotion, and community engagement.

His expertise includes stakeholder partnerships, capacity building, volunteer engagement, and program implementation.

He holds a Master of Public Health from the Central University of Hyderabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Kakatiya University.  Passionate about community health, women’s empowerment, and grassroots mobilization, Vijay enjoys mentoring teams, research-driven learning, and contributing to local development initiatives.
