Digital Health Analyst

Aditi Kumari works as an Analyst in the Department of Digital Health and is responsible for assisting the Digital Health Specialists in various segments of Indian Healthcare across Public Health, Private Health, Hospitals, Health Insurance and Academia. Aditi’s main focus is research, creation of various reports and documentation on Digital Health Standards based building blocks and minimum viable products. Aditi holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Management from International Institute of Health Management Research.

Akriti Jamwal

Digital Health Analyst

Dr. Akriti Jamwal works as an Analyst in the Department of Digital Health and is responsible for assisting the Digital Health Specialists in various segments of Indian Healthcare across Public Health, Private Health, Hospitals, Health Insurance and Academia. Akriti’s main focus is research, creation of various reports and documentation on Digital Health Standards based building blocks and minimum viable products. Akriti holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Management from International Institute of Health Management Research. Previously she had worked as a Dental Surgeon at various organizations.

Anuradha Katyal

Tehnical Specialist (Research)

Anuradha works is a lead researcher with ACCESS Health India. She brings more than seven years of experience in public health research, implementation support, and knowledge management. Anuradha has worked with experienced teams on conceptualizing and conducting both secondary and primary research, including household surveys, facility assessments, focus group discussions, and qualitative interviews. She has also authored several blogs and opinion pieces

Apoorva Sharma

Jr. Digital Health Specialist

Apoorva Sharma is responsible for the technical implementation, design and solutions for NDHB building blocks based on Microservices Architecture for Digital Health for Access Health India. She will work with technical team to provide technical support to design pilots for the states. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak. She has worked with organizations like Meril LIfesciences, Olympus Medicals India, Medtronic Pvt. Ltd. India and Baxter Pvt. Ltd. India

Arun B. Nair

Senior Technical Specialist

Arun B Nair works with the ACCESS Health India team on health financing and systems research. Arun began his career with the National Health Systems Resource Center, New Delhi as a Health Finance Consultant and was involved in technical support for the implementation of health financing programs under the National Rural Health Mission. He later worked with the Institute of Public Health, Bangalore as a faculty member in Health Economics and Financing. He was Deputy Director Research of the State Health Systems Resource Center, Kerala prior to joining the ACCESS Health India team. Currently, he is a member of committee on costing of health services of Government of Kerala.

Dr. Dhananjaya

Senior Technical Specialist (Insurance and Claims)

Dr. S. Dhananjaya joined ACCESS Health India as Senior Health Financing Specialist for the technical assistance program on National Health Protection Mission. Dr. Dhananjaya is a Bachelor in Dentistry and has over 10 years of experience in medical practices, working with private third party insurance agencies and then with Government. Prior to joining ACCESS Health, He was working as Deputy Director at Suvarna, Arogya Suraksha Trust(SAST) a state health agency implementing Health assurance schemes in Karnataka.

Dr. Krishna Reddy

Country Director, India

Krishna Reddy, MD, is responsible for the overall development, management, and leadership of the activities of ACCESS Health in India. Krishna is a board certified cardiologist with a long and distinguished career, marked by his leadership of the CARE Hospital Group which he helped create. The hospital group is now recognized as the most advanced, complete cardiac care center in the country. The hospitals have become models for patient satisfaction and innovation.

Dr. Pankaj Gupta

Head – Department of Digital Health

Dr. Pankaj Gupta is responsible for digital health across all programs and activities in India. His responsibilities include the establishment of digital health partnerships with government and the public and private sectors, as well as with research and development organizations. Dr. Gupta has worked for more than two decades in the healthcare and pharmaceutical technology field and has held leadership roles in Asia, the United States, and Canada. For his work, he was awarded the Top 50 Smart Healthcare Leaders Award and the Asia Inc. 500 Pharma Digital Transformation Award.

Gaurav Mishra

Health Insurance Specialist

Dr. Gaurav Mishra joined ACCESS Health India as a Health Insurance Specialist, providing technical assistance and support to the State Health Agency, Government of Gujarat for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojna. Gaurav completed his bachelor’s degree in ayurveda and obtained a master’s degree in public health from the Indian Institute of Health Management and Research, Jaipur. Gaurav has over eight years of experience in supporting central and state government to strengthen the public health programs. Before joining ACCESS Health he was part of the program management team at the Indian National Health Authority

Guneet Kaur

Research Associate

Dr. Gaurav Mishra joined ACCESS Health India as a Health Insurance Specialist, providing technical assistance and support to the State Health Agency, Government of Gujarat for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojna. Gaurav completed his bachelor’s degree in ayurveda and obtained a master’s degree in public health from the Indian Institute of Health Management and Research, Jaipur. Gunudrao Desai

Specialist-Monitoring Evaluation  and learning 

Gundurao Arun Desai works with ACCESS Health India’s Capacity Building Team for Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana as a Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Specialist.
Before joining ACCESS Health, he worked as the Specialist – Monitoring and Evaluation with Uttar Pradesh Technical Support Unit (UPTSU/IHAT), Lucknow. In this role Gundurao was associated in Designing and Implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation framework for Program Monitoring of MNCH program. Support Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in strengthening government administrative data system. Support in designing and implementation and analysis of large-scale facility & community survey as well as the implementation of ICT related projects of UPTSU. Gundurao has a Master’s degree in Statistics and has more than 7 Years of experience in Public health. 

Harpreet Kaur

Research Associate

Harpreet is primarily involved in the NITI Extension Grant project documenting the private sector’s impact on the State Government’s response to COVID-19. Previously she worked on SDG related projects and on community data based on health informatics tool SMAARTTM. Harpreet holds a degree in Master of Public Health from University College Dublin, Ireland. Prior to this, she attained a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics and Public Health Nutrition from Lady Irwin College, D.U.

Himani Sethi

Lead – Health Systems Capacity Building

Himani Sethi leads the health systems capacity building work for ACCESS Health International. Her responsibilities include state engagement, expansion and, establishment of programs and collaborations with governments and external organizations for health systems strengthening. Himani has more than eighteen years of experience in public health in several high priority Indian states with leading policy making institutions, international foundations and private sector ecosystem

Jaidev Singh Anand

Senior Technical Specialist

Jaidev supports the development of a health financing strategy that will meet the needs of government, public, private, and academic partners. Before joining ACCESS Health International, he worked with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Krishan Bhardwaj

Digital Health Architect (DHA -Track Lead 1)

Krishan Bhardwaj works with the ACCESS Health India digital health team and is responsible for our work on the design of an integrated health insurance platform for universal health coverage and developing a health data dictionary and national registries for the India Health domain.

Manisha Tripathi

State Lead

Manisha is helping with the design and development of tender documents and as a tenders liaison to government and private sector partners. Manisha has more than twelve years of experience in public health, having worked in India with both Population Services International and Family Health International 360. She hold’s Master’s degree in Hospital Administration.

Maulik Chokshi

Director-Health Systems

Maulik Chokshi drives our health systems work in India and provides technical and programmatic leadership for our policy work. Maulik brings with him two decades worth of health experience. He spent eight highly regarded years with the Public Health Foundation of India, worked as an advisor to the global healthcare information company IMS Health, and consultant to many national and international agencies and development partners. He has worked extensively on policies and capacity building initiatives related to medicine procurement, pricing, immunization, maternal and child health, healthcare financing in an Indian setting.

Prashanthi Krsihnakumar

Assistant Program Manager

Prashanthi Krishnakumar works on the Public Private Partnerships Project. She also contributes to the India work for the Center for Health Market Innovations. She has an MBA in Healthcare and Hospital Management from the University of Hyderabad as well as a Master’s degree in Bioscience from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.

Priyanka Pathak

Consultant

Priyanka is a Consultant at ACCESS Health International and presently part of health system capacity building. She will spearhead the State engagement, coordination and collaboration with State Government and look into operational efficiency in providing technical assistance. She has more than nine years’ experience in UP with six years looking into implementation of mass health insurance policy Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana

Priyanka Yadav

Senior Digital Health Specialist

Priyanka is responsible for developing and supporting digital health strategies for ACCESS Health India. She provides technical support for technology enabled initiatives across health domains including provider, payer, governance, and product space. Her responsibility includes providing technical support and implementation of functional design for various technology based components.

Raghav Bhardwaj

Digital Health Analyst

Rajeev Prasad

Consultant-Public Financial Management System

Rajeev Prasad is working with ACCESS Health India on the Public Financial Management System project for the state of Assam as a technical specialist in public financing. His work will include detailed research into the India National Health Mission Budget planning, implementation, and challenges related to the financial system. Before joining ACCESS Health, Rajeev worked with the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease, PATH, and the National Health Mission Finance Division of India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Sawan Sharma

Program Assistant

Sawan Sharma is working with the ACCESS Health India team on their health systems strengthening and health policy programs. Prior to joining ACCESS Health, Sawan worked on multiple assignments across the public and private sectors, including projects with donor agencies, international NGOs and government clients such as the World Bank, Niti Aayog, Medtronic, and the UNDP. Sawan is a postgraduate in biotechnology from Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University, Delhi

Shivani Chauhan

Executive Administrative Assistant

Shivani Chauhan works with the ACCESS Health International India Team. She manages the facilities and operations of the New Delhi office. She provides assistance to the Country Director and overall India team regarding administration. Previously, she worked in the Hospitality Industry. Shivani has a Bachelor’s degree in English Honors from Delhi University.

Shivansh Verma

Research Associate

Shivansh will support the Research and Policy Team in drafting working papers on select topics and contribute to the demand generation for health systems research. He holds master’s degree in Healthcare Management from International Institute of Health Management Research.

Smruti Panigrahi

Research Associate

Smruti is part of the Health Systems Research and Policy team at ACCESS Health India. Her responsibilities include assisting in primary and secondary research and supporting capacity building exercises. She has a master’s degree in public health from the Indian Institute of Public Health, Delhi and a bachelor’s degree in dentistry.

Tushar Mokashi

Senior Technical Specialist

Tushar Mokashi supports the overall healthcare financing and research work at Access Health International. He was previously associated with the healthcare financing team at National Health Systems Resource Centre, New Delhi for eight years providing continuous technical support on Healthcare Financing issues to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, State Departments of Health and Family Welfare, NITI Ayog, Finance Commission, Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation and other government institutions across the country.

Ved Prakash

Digital Health Specialist (Technical)

Ved provides technical expertise on design and development of digital health solutions across projects. His work is focused on digital health standards, federated architecture, eObjects, microservices implementation, and designing minimum viable product definitions for health delivery and health insurance information systems. Ved has 12 years of experience that includes architecting various EHR and EMR platforms. He has also worked extensively on development of various Hospital Information Systems, Clinical decision support systems etc and is well versed with interoperability standards like Health Level 7

Vineet Prakash

Claims and Risk Management Specialist 

Vineet Prakash works with ACCESS Health India’s Capacity Building Team for Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna as the Claims and Risk Management Specialist. Before joining ACCESS Health, he worked as the Assistant General Manager – Operations with MDIndia Health Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd. In this role, Vineet was responsible for implementation and ground work for mass health insurance schemes for various states such as Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, team handling, monitoring and field support, hospital empanelment, enrollments and audits, and liaising with state government health departments, vendor management, and fraud and investigation teams.
