Job Summary:
We are looking for a Program Manager with a master’s degree in public health and 5-7 years of experience in the field to lead and manage a participatory action research (PAR) project. The ideal candidate will possess excellent research and management skills with a proven track record in managingprojects in public health. The candidate will be responsible to manage the overall project, support in undertaking data collection, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all activities of the project starting from developing plans, timelines and deliverables. Ensure project objectives are met within the timeframe and budget.
- Design and implement data collection tools, supervise and undertake data collection on field and ensure the collected data meets the quality standards.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including community members, partners and facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders from public health department. Represent the project at meetings, and other events.
- Supervise and mentor associates working in the team. Coordinate with the members at head office for visits and other requirements.
- Design, developand coordinate for capacity building activities for DEIC, NRC with the experts. Assess training needs and maintain documentation for all the capacity building initiatives undertaken as part of the project.
- Generate high quality reports and documents. Able to undertake large data analysis using quantitative and qualitative tools and present it in good formats. Maintain all project related records.
- Support the head office in ensuring the project has all records required by compliance team. Coordinate with finance team in ensuring budget mandates are in place along with monitoring the project expenditures.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications: Master’s in public health, Epidemiology, or a related field with 5-7 years of experience in managing public health projects. Proficiency in Telugu speaking is mandatory.
Experience:
- Proven experience in managing public health projects and conducting research studies.
- At least 2 Publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent research and data analysis skills.
- Program implementation and Monitoring skills
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, STATA).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Commitment to ethical research practices.
- Willingness to travel extensively
Nature of Employment:
- The selected candidate shall be offered a twelvemonths contract, with the possibility of extension, based on continued availability of funding and performance.

Grade Level: M3
Compensation: 9 – 10 LPA
